If you have never heard of the Tower of London go here and read about it. The history is fascinating and will make you grateful you were not born into a royal blood line back in the days of the Kings and Queens and the Royal Court.
We had a wonderful time galavanting around the place as tourists but in reality in its time this is not a place I would have ever wanted to be near. As it stands today surrounded by its dried up moat it is fascinating and a must see tourist stop. But to think of the beheadings, burnings at the stake or hangings that actually took place there centuries ago makes me cringe.
That was kind of a debbie downer moment. On to the happy times of our trip...

Inside of this building they had a display of King Henry VII armory. All kinds of Armor for men, horses etc.
