Bryan and Bentley built the pinewood derby car weeks before the actual derby.
I'm so glad they did because when the time actually came Bryan was in Taiwan and there is no way I could have built a derby car.
Bryan was really bummed that he wasn't there but Bentley was lucky to have the support of Grandma and Grandpa.
His car won every single race it was in that night!
Cecily was his best cheer leader!
And this is the car that smoked all the others.
Winning the derby was such a great surprise for him.
And being the sweet heart that he is
he whispered in my ear that night that he
"feels bad for everybody else because they didn't win."
And he meant it. He is such a sweet heart.
