The TTC Clubhouse had a good two year run until the canal was cemented over.
Bentley built a little fort down by the canal and had a great time each day with his friends. They decided that they would meet every Tuesday and Thursday. That's how they came up with the "TTC" which stands for the Tuesday, Thursday Club.
He transplanted some natural growing mint plants and other leftovers I had from planting in the yard and watered them each day.
They built a table out of some of the neighbors scrap wood.
They played in the water.
Took care of their plants and made benches.
One day I found out that they had been feeding a stray cat there. They admitted to sneaking some of our cat's food to the fort and feeding it. This was their big secret and when they told me they had been feeding it for weeks.
