Bear Lake

Here are some pictures from our recent adventure to Reed and Sandra's Bear Lake Lighthouse. (Reed and Sandra are Bryan's Aunt and Uncle)

It is such a cool place they have up there.

Reed and Shannon were able to spend the weekend with us but the rest of Reed's family couldn't make it. I felt bad because Bryan was going to take their family picture while there but the day of their little grand daughter got the stomach flu so the picture kind of fell apart for them because they couldn't make the drive and didn't want to expose us to the flu.

Bryan had his camera gear there so we set up for our own family picture. With Reed and Shannon's help we got smiles from Bentley and Cecily! (The end result is the picture at the top of this blog).

They were such gracious hosts! They really know how to make you feel welcome and at home. And Reed's cookin' is delicious!

Oh and Lucy made a new best friend - Shannon! She spent most of Sunday cuddling up next to her on the couch as we watched conference.

And she also enjoyed the beach.

Cecily and the "Cow Monster." (The Cow Monster who roams Bear Lake at night on full moon nights just like the night we were there!!!) Bryan and Cecily had some good laughs pretending that the cow monster was on the prowl. "What was that noise??" "It must be the cow monster!"
