Abby, Bentley, and Annabelle.
This year at school Bentley and the fourth grade is learning all about the early days of Utah and what it was like for the settlers of this area.
That is why their field trip was to This is the Place Heritage Park. I was lucky enough to go along. We had a good time.
My little group consisted of Bentley, my nephew Krew, my niece Annabelle, and Abby Chappell. We got to ride the little train, have a nice picnic, learn a dance the folks of Deseret used to do, and spend time in a one room school house being taught a bit about what school was like back in the day.
The weather was perfect and all the fourth graders got the chance to pull a handcart a ways around the park.
