Rowland Farm Fresh Eggs!

Our chickens have been trying to earn their keep by laying 3 to 4 eggs a day. I say 'try' because they will never make up for what they have cost in monetary terms. It's kind of shocking all the random things you have to buy for them!!
Even still - we say these eggs taste better than any other eggs in all the land. However, I'm not quite sure it is worth it. Our back yard is literally turning into a farm. It's nice to have your chickens be "free range" in the yard during the day but those ladies produce a surprisingly large amount of pooh and their favorite thing to do is scatter the bark from the bark beds all over the yard in their search for yummy bugs to eat.
