Bear Lake Rowland Family Reunion

Thanks to Reed and Sandra for a GREAT family reunion at their place in Bear Lake! They have such a neat place right next to the beach complete with a light house and everything! It was great to see everyone and the kids had such a wonderful time playing on the beach with cousins. We stayed at a cabin down the road that Kim and Marlene had rented. We are so glad cousin Krew came along with us. His parents and sister stayed behind because Moana was about to have her baby and thought Bear Lake wouldn't be such a great place to be in case he decided to arrive. That baby has since been born! He came yesterday (August 27th) and weighed 6 lbs. 5 ounces.
While in Bear Lake on the last day of the Reunion Aunt Amy, who is 4 months pregnant, experienced an ambulence ride to the Logan Hospital where she spent the night to pass some kidney stones. At first it was thought that she was loosing the baby because the pain was so intense but after awhile at the hospital they discovered it was the kidney stones! We're glad the baby is ok and man I hope I never have to pass kidney stones. Also on the last day we were there Grandpa Rowland recieved news that good friends and associates of his were killed in a plane crash in Moab. We all are very sad for his loss and the nightmare the families of those on the plane are going through.
This is Reed and Sandra's cool place. You can see the light house up on top.
The Beach. I should mention (if you can't already tell) that all of these are Bryan's pictures. If any of you are going to Swiss Days be sure to look for Bryan in his Mountain Valley Photography Booth. It will be across the street from the town Hall right by the post office.
Bentley
Here is Cecily. That girl is never phased by a little COLD water. Anything to swim! She loves to be in the water.
Here is another picture to prove my point. (Yes this is a picture of Cecily. I know she looks so different with her bangs cut) It was July of this year and we were having a picnic one evening way above Strawberry Lake. There was a mountain stream near by. Cecily went right in and eventually just took off all her clothes. It was FREEZING! She didn't care.

Bentley and Krew. Since Bentley lost his front teeth this has become his new way to smile!?#! Take a look at the first day of first grade post. You'll see what I mean :)

These shells were all over the beach.
