This year I had it all planned out. No surprise birthday parties or anything this year but I cooked a special breakfast and had the balloons and decorations out and up before he came out of the bedroom as well as a present to open. The kids had also made him cards and helped me decorate.
That evening we went to Salt Lake to the Pictureline Camera store to see his photography that is on display this month at their store. They wanted to display some Micro (or is it Macro) photography and chose 3 of Bryan's. They are his wasp and bee series. It was really cool to see them printed larger than life on the wall. We got out of there without buying anything (miracle) and then went to dinner at Market Street with Bryan's parents (thank you so much), his sister Amy and her husband Phil, brother Erik and wife Moana. We missed other brothers Shawn and Alex. (Shawn is at Med school in Mexico and Alex was at home in St. George). HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY! Hopefully he has forgiven me for last year. Besides when we were on our honeymoon 8 and 1/2 years ago he completely forgot my birthday! Call it even right?
Here are pictures of the bee shots on display at PICTURE LINE. They are not the best shots but give you the general idea as to how big they are:
