This morning as Cecily was choosing out what to wear she insisted on the "ski bunny" shirt. One of her favorites despite the fact that skiing has not become her favorite (yet). I looked and saw that there are two stains on the shirt. Because I was trying to get her to want to wear the outfit I had chosen out I pointed the stains out to her. Her reply was with complete seriousness. She said "MOM, We need OXY CLEAN!"
"Really" I said. Why?"
"Because it has OXI POWER!"
Maybe this is a tale tale sign that my kids watch too much TV...
They have both tried to get me to buy the "snuggie" (which they have seen advertised many times). It is a big blanket with sleeves to put your arms through so that if you are all snuggled up in the blanket you can still use your arms.
Just look below at the many "uses" of the Snuggie.
The "Snuggie" - Ha ha. It is so funny to listen to the commercial how they make this regular old blanket with sleeves sound like the old blankets without sleeves are just such trouble makers. Those sunggies are the dumbest things. Just put on a sweatshirt for crying out loud. That is so funny that she thinks you need oxy clean. TV really knows how to market. Especially towards kids. Jax os always telling me about something he saw on TV that he needs. Hopefully he won't see the snuggie infomercial any time soon. :)
Funny! Marketing works the best on kids, because they believe whatever anyone tells them. The best is when Lexie comes home from school with some new thing we should obviously be doing, but we're not.
Zoe is also a big fan of the infomercials. Her favorite it the bendaroos with "no mess."
