A week before school was to begin I decided to take the kids to the zoo. Just the three of us. It seems like we always go at the hottest point of the day and the kids are more into the maps and the gift shop than the animals... Anyhow here are some pictures from the day (minus tantrums and complaints).
P.S. There is a new baby elephant at the zoo that was born weeks ago. To our disappointment it is not ready for the public yet. They had posted pictures of it (it is darling) and said that it needs more time to bond with its mother before it comes out into the viewing area.
There is also new baby tiger cubs. We didn't see them while were there either. Saw pictures though.
